User X discovered Grok using AI to create child pornography images.
Grok, an artificial intelligence chatbot developed by xAI, a company owned by Elon Musk, has faced criticism on the X platform after users discovered that Grok could generate child pornography images via a prompt on X.

One X user inquired about the appropriateness and legality of the Grok chatbot's actions. Grok responded with an automated message (not an official statement) apologizing for the incident and stating that it violated US child pornography laws because the system could not adequately prevent the creation of such images. xAI stated that they would investigate and prevent such issues (read the full story here).

Later, Parsa Tajik, a technical officer at xAI, responded to the complaint, stating that they were working on a preventative measure. Meanwhile, the governments of India and France announced that they would launch investigations into the incident.
