GM announced support for Apple Music in its vehicles.
GM has announced support for Apple Music streaming service in its Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicle brands, and has begun rolling out updates to select models.

GM's Apple Music support is significant because the company recently announced it will discontinue support for CarPlay, which transmits data from iPhones to in-car screens, in order to switch to its own Android Automotive operating system. Therefore, supporting a widely used Apple service like Apple Music will reduce the obstacles for users migrating their systems.

Cadillac vehicles will also receive Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos, enhancing the music listening experience with 3D sound.
