[Rumor] OpenAI plans a new funding round of $100 billion.

 

Further reports from The Information indicate that OpenAI is in talks with several investors, seeking a total of approximately $100 billion in funding to secure a valuation of $750 billion, up from $500 billion in October.

The list of investors identified for this round includes SoftBank, Thrive Capital, Dragoneer Investment Group, MGX Fund, and T. Rowe Price.

Yesterday, The Information also reported on OpenAI's funding plans, but noted that the company is also in discussions with Amazon for potential investment.
