NVIDIA announced the acquisition of SchedMD, the developer of Slurm, an open-source workload management system for HPC and AI tasks. The acquisition price was not disclosed.

NVIDIA stated that it will continue to support Slurm as an open-source solution for the HPC and AI communities. Slurm is a highly popular managed service system on supercomputers, with more than half of the top 100 supercomputers using it.
