Pornhub has leaked customer data; attackers obtained video viewing history and search queries from Premium customers.
The hacker group ShinyHunters claims to have obtained data from Pornhub users following a Mixpanel hack that also leaked OpenAI customer data. This may have resulted in the leak of some Pornhub usage data.

Pornhub has stated that it has not used Mixpanel since 2021, but acknowledges using it with premium customers prior to that time for usage analysis. They also confirmed that while data was leaked, it did not affect financial information or passwords.

ShinyHunters claims to have access to over 200 million transaction records, including video viewing history, search queries, and video downloads of premium users, all linked to their email addresses. The group also provided sample data to Bleeping Computer, showing only video views, downloads, and channel viewings on the site; search queries were not included in the sample data.

ShinyHunters is currently seeking ransom from Pornhub.
