YouTube banned two major YouTubers for creating fake movie trailers using AI.
This could be another consequence of Disney's collaboration with OpenAI. After Disney warned Google to stop infringing on its copyright, it seems YouTube has begun to heed the warning from the Mickey Mouse company.

The company has shut down two YouTube channels with millions of subscribers: Screen Culture and KH Studio. They violated the platform's policies regarding spamming and misleading users. Previously, both channels had their monetization disabled for the same reason, but at that time, they compensated by adding descriptions stating that the videos were AI-generated parodies of movie trailers, leading YouTube to reinstate their monetization.

However, recently, both Screen Culture and KH Studio neglected to include proper video descriptions, mistakenly believing they were watching official movie trailers. Ultimately, YouTube lost patience and shut down these two AI-generated movie trailer channels.

It remains to be seen which other channels YouTube will take action against for violating its policies. But this incident has shown that the company doesn't even care how many followers and viewers those two shutdown channels had. If you violate the rules, your channel can easily be taken down immediately.
