Manus, the high-profile Agentic AI startup acquired by Meta in late 2025, has officially launched its latest feature: Manus Agents. This update integrates the platform’s advanced autonomous assistants directly into popular messaging apps, starting with Telegram as its launch platform.

The Full Power of Manus, Now in Your Pocket

The core functionality of Manus Agents mirrors the experience of using the dedicated Manus web or mobile application. Users can delegate complex, multi-step tasks to the AI such as market research, travel planning, or workflow automation simply by sending a message. The primary goal is to provide a seamless user experience by meeting customers on the communication platforms they already use daily.

Cross-Platform Expansion on the Horizon

While the feature is currently exclusive to Telegram, Manus has signaled an aggressive expansion strategy. The company’s official website already displays placeholder icons for WhatsApp, Messenger, and LINE, suggesting that a wider rollout is imminent as part of Meta’s broader ecosystem integration.

 Manus's integration into chat apps exemplifies the Zero-UI concept, meaning that we don't need to learn how to use complex interfaces; we can interact with it directly via natural language. This makes AI a more accessible "personal assistant."

Meta's acquisition of Manus in 2025 is already bearing fruit. The upcoming launch of Manus Agents on WhatsApp and Messenger demonstrates Meta's goal of transforming chat apps from mere "chat platforms" into "operating systems" with Manus as the core processing unit.

The initial launch on Telegram may be related to targeting early adopters developers and privacy-conscious users which aligns with Manus's image as a productivity-focused AI.
