GSMA reveal the mobile phone users around the world over 5 billion people, it is 2/3 of world population.



GSMA Intelligence Research Department of the GSM standards organization, the numbers, the number of people with mobile phones around the world, registered a unique connection (1 per subscription 1 person) over 5 billion people and counting, as the total population of the world's 2/3 is estimated that there is about 7.5 billion.

While the phone registered with all 8.1 billion (1 person more than 1 machine), which include the connection with a M2M, however. GSMA expect mobile phone (not including M2M) is connected, at present there is around 7.7 billion machine only.





GSMA predicts that mobile phone, access of population worldwide is at 67% by Europe has the highest proportion at 86%, North America, Central Africa and the lower section is 80% (sub-Sahara) as low as 44%.

GSMA expects within 2020 a number of people in possession of unique mobile seems to touch the 5.7 billion people.
