Consumer Reports Surface status as "not recommended".


The magazine Consumer Reports received high reliability in terms of neutral reviews the decision to remove the status Recommended from out of products group Surface of Microsoft.

The reason is, the Consumer Reports survey, annual reviews from users and found the problem, the stability of the hardware group, more than the normal Surface (25% indicated that the problems were found during the two years after purchase) and decided to dismantle the status Recommended out.




Of course, Microsoft released the objections this matter. Microsoft's own information, claiming that the rate of customer issues found, less than 25% and very problematic hardware statistics (incidents per unit-IPU) was less than 1%, the results of customer satisfaction surveys or Surface it 98% satisfaction score.
