DeepMind, the owner of AlphaGo works with the Department of Veteran Affairs to develop Machine Learning to detect the deterioration of patients undergoing hospital treatment.

The first symptom that DeepMind has with the Veteran Affairs is Acute Kidney Injury. The goal of DeepMind is to provide Machine Learning with the fastest possible kidney failure. The doctor will be able to keep up. And the reason for choosing acute renal failure is because both organizations have expertise and knowledge already.
