IBM launches new version of z14 mainframe. Performance well enough to encode all data at any time.

IBM mainframe computers, a new version of the Z family (counted as the Edition z14). The highlight is the performance levels high enough to "Encrypt everything". In any application at any time.

IBM argues that today's world needs more and more encrypted data. But encryption limitations and complexity of managing resulted IBM z14 development engine encrypts both hardware and software for performance improvement of up to 7 times (compared to z13), and discussed the above systems as x86 up to 18 times.

In addition to performance, the IBM z14 also encoded with security features. Protecting the hardware encryption keys (FIPS standard of the US government at level 4). The target of a large enterprise IBM z14 is afraid of data leak and compliance of the Government agencies.
