Amazon Acquires DuckLabs, Commits to Keeping Open-Source DuckDB Free Tech giant Amazon has announced its acquisition of DuckLabs , the primary corporate development team behind DuckDB the popular open-source analytical database system. Amazon explicitly confirmed that DuckDB will remain fully open-source, alleviating immediate community concerns regarding potential licensing changes or project privatization.
