CCleaner server was hacked. The program is embed malware, affect the user 2 million people.


Piriform, the owner of a famous machine cleaning program CCleaner, disclosure of information that was hacked and the hacker system secretly embedded malware to go with open CCleaner, download it from the Web page, it is estimated that the affected users 2.27 million people.

The affected version is CCleaner v5.33.6162 and 32-bit Windows version of CCleaner Cloud v1.07.3191. Open to download between 15 August and 12 September, the update CCleaner program itself is not affected by the hacking.



Piriform said malware secretly buried not serious behavior is a data IP address or รายชื่อโปรแกรม on the user machine to server destination. Which now Piriform with agencies of the U.S. government can turn off this server.

Piriform recommend that users upgrade version is CCleaner v5.34 and CCleaner Cloud  v1.07.3214 immediately.
