The new setting provides a direct, toggle-based mechanism to segment family streams from personal listening data:

• Targeted Exclusion Mechanics: Available under Settings → Content and display, users can toggle off the "Include kids and family music in taste profile" switch. Once toggled, streams of lullabies, nursery rhymes, animated movie soundtracks, and children’s audio will no longer influence personalized algorithmic feeds, such as Discover Weekly, Daily Mixes, or Spotify Wrapped rankings.

• Unrestricted Access and Playback: Excluding children’s tracks from the Taste Profile does not restrict or block access to the content itself. Users can still search for, play, and build playlists containing family music as usual.

• Universal Availability across Plans: The feature is rolling out globally on iOS and Android mobile clients for both Spotify Free and Spotify Premium tiers.
